We went for lunch, great food and reasonable prices, I would return every day to try all the menu, ask for sangria and try the desserts, all of them are excellent,

This little restaurant is amazing! My sister and I stumbled upon it on our second vacation to Huatulco and absolutely loved it. Over the 10 days of our vacation we ate here 4 times! Everything we had was fantastic and full of flavour!

The owner takes great pride in her restaurant and goes above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience. We called for a reservation as members of our group had been previously. They were booked but she did provide a time that she could accommodate our group of 6. The table was set and ready when we arrived. The menu has a great selection without being overwhelming and the Ceviche is PERFECTION! Personalized care and preparation of each item takes a bit more time but so worth every second and the atmosphere makes it easy to forget you are even waiting. Cant wait to come back on my next visit!!!

Mercader is small but don't let that stop you. The service is outstanding and the food is beyond belief!! I have never had a bad experience here and I cannot count the number of times I have enjoyed their dinners. The prices are great and the food is beyond great!!

After reading the reviews here, I had to try the chicken pad Thai, and I'm glad I did. It was cooked just right and came with plenty of fresh, zesty sauce. I had a hibiscus soda that was a real treat, as well as a glass of fresh lemonade (as it was really hot in Huatulco and I was parched).Reserve a table if you're coming for supper, but if you're like me and you're looking for a late lunch / early dinner, then you should be able to get in without a reservation. Service available in Spanish and English.
