Contribuiți la feedbackWe were celebrating a special anniversary so decided to visit this highly recommended restaurant. Although it is a beautiful location a terrace table with a spectacular view of the Bay, the menu was very ordinary, the food OK, and the service was amateur (for example, the amuse bouche of ceviche was brought to us at the end of the meal! . The waiter took at least 15 minutes to bring our wine and struggled to open it. And there were very few people dining so it was very odd. BUT the saving grace was the Sky Bar which we visited afterward up a big flight of stairs to a patio surrounding a magnificent tree! The atmosphere was alive, there was great music and we enjoyed a celebratory mezcal to honour our special day!
Why not look out on the azure waters from the bird's eye view of Quinta Real while sipping your breakfast green (healthy! smoothy and eating traditional Oaxaca fare? Why not listen to the gentle strum of guitar while the moon rises over the water in the evening? Any time of day is a winner here.
Las Cupulas has been our breakfast destination on January 1 for many years. Although much higher priced than other breakfast places in Huatulco, the wonderful view and the creative menu compensated for the price. The view is still great; the meal has slipped to mediocre. The omelet I was was tasteless. The great sweet rolls previously served and still listed as part of breakfast on the menu were no shows; when asked, the waiter said there were none and offered toast. Marmalade for the toast, which came half way through the meal, was just strawberry no other flavors were available. The fruit, formerly a plateful, was limited to a few pieces. Service, formerly attentive, was lackluster. Next January 1, we'll head to a different venue.
La comida promedio, pedimos un vino y no lo tenían, también se les acabó la pasta, debimos escoger otra opción. Los precios son altos y el sazón es promedio, nada extraordinario. El lugar muy elegante.
