Contribuiți la feedbackWe are here with friends and have a blast. Nice traditional place with delicious food. Highly recommend all the appetizer. Atmosphere is great and very local. No tourists.
The place is mexican decor, clean and nice. The sanitized the place before and after was used. The food was good and delicious. We asked “filete al mojo de ajo”, “filete relleno”, “shrimp tostada”, “mix seafood tostada”. The flavor was yummy also the beverage like piñada. Totally recommended it. The price was razonable compared with the portion. The waiter was so kind and helpful guy.
My husband and I arrived there just before closing (we didn't know! but they still sat us which we were grateful for. The margaritas are huge (get them with mezcal instead of tequila if you like and delicious! I unexpectedly fell in love with the chicken fajitas. They tasted like chicken chow mein which I miss immensely since finding out I'm celiac. I know it sounds weird but it was delicious!! The tamales were to die for, perfectly cooked and the sauce was great for being mild but flavourful, and you can up the spice with the different sauces they provide at the table. Service was warm and kind. We will happily return!
Came back again after a good experience. Had some shrimp, arrachera and some fish. Nice staff. Came back a few days later and very different experience. Server was a hustler, felt no longer like a great local Oaxacan spot but a tourist experience. Even our bill was priced different than the menu. Fish was cold, tasted off, and I did get sick. Dry, very disappointed second time around, will not be going back.
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends at our resort and we really enjoyed the meal and cleanliness and the quiet atmosphere. It is hidden in a client side street and it is decorated exquisitely with interesting Mexican cultural murals on the walls, etc. Honestly, though it was a little bit more on the expensive side, but we didn’t have any other experience at any other of the restaurants, and we were OK with paying a little extra for extra cleanliness and quality of the food.
