Hugo's Family - Santa Maria

Good place if you like extra protein in the form of a cockroach. No bathroom available. What little I ate of the food tasted good, but instantly lost appetite when the cockroach crawled across the table. Not the floor, not the walls... On my table. Unacceptable. I'd advise people to find a better Mexican restaurant in the area than Hugo's.

I should have check the reviews before going there. The tamale I ordered( to go)had gone bad, the menudo was super salty and tasted like it was from a can, and the birria was all bones. Never goin back there again.

Their food is horrible. It taste like it is from a can and over salted. I would never eat there again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

Very bad odor in the restaurant. Guy who made my food had just ringed me up at touched cash, without washing his hands. Worst restaurant I've ever been too. And dirty

Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine in santa maria. embedded in a small stripe mall it is easy to overlook. they have this amazing surf and turf burrito tuco burrito,) which I highly recommend.
