Great restaurant right by the sea port! Delicious cuisine and the freshest seafood being served out by talented chef Rosa Maria Balistreri paired perfectly with wines and service by co host/husband/owner Sebastiano. Cozy interiors but if the weather is nice they have a great al fresco outdoor dining option. I had Siclian oysters for the first time in my life and they were crazy good. For my primi, I ordered one of their specialty dishes the pasta with pistaccio, pachino tomatoes and gambero rosso. WOW. Along with a great bottle of some local red wine (Frappato) plus the overall help, service and warmth of the owners I had a fantastic evening and dinner at Scaru Porticello. Highly recommend going here!

Lovely restaurant right next to the harbour. We had a very friendly waiter who was helpful with our food order and ordering gluten and dairy free which was nice and easy with good options. We had different prawn pasta dishes which were both delicious, simple but full of flavour. The wine was nice although bit more pricey than some other restaurants. Unfortunately they'd sold out of swordfish a couple of other things, but this could be due to the Madonna del Lume festival the night before. Definitely recommend, seemed nicer than some of the restaurants nearby (sorry pictures not great as had already eaten half of it!
