Coucou Bar Restaurant Bantayan Island

Same as every other review, Service in restaurant is so very,very poor. Would never eat here again Can't get drinks Your meal only gets served when you go up and ask,after 1 hour,where it is. Waitress seem more concerned with chatting to filopinos at bar than serving the tables.k Food was ok Just service spoiled it You even have to go to bar to get bill They not bring to table. You would think with so many bad reviews for service they might try and fix it,but seems reviews go back over 6-12 months for bad service,so I guess not care

We had dinner here and it was a disappointing experience overall. When we arrived, no one greeted us and the waitreses were all on their own worlds, until only one approached us after a few minutes of awkwardly standing. The wait for our food took over an hour and although the food was actually good, the service eclipsed the what could have been a potentially very good dining experience. Note that there were only two of us dining and we only got pizza and pasta. I'm not sure if they were simply understaffed or the management just needed more training on customer service but I urge them to please take action and improve this. The location was great and the ambiance was what hooked us in. However, if you're looking to eat here, please look elsewhere to save yourself the trouble (and hunger).

Only in their restaurant We ordered Pansit Guisado, Lechon Kawali, Calamares, large Hawaiian pizza, Buko juice and Calamansi juice. First of all, the menu prices are not for local. Expensive menu compare to the Kota Beach Resort Restaurant. Im giving a two stars instead of one for 3 reasons. Ambiance is welcoming, their washroom is clean and the taste of the Pansit Guisado is very good. Now, price of a Buko juice is 85pesos (lmao the metal straw makes it pricey). The portion of Calamares and Lechon Kawali is waaaaaayyyyyyy to small. We got SEVEN(7) cuts of medium size Calamares for the price of almost 300pesos and the taste of it is just the same you get from MJ Square. Lechon Kawali 's taste is just normal. Nothing fancy. Their pizza crust is so thin and hard, its like you eating a week old pandesal. Disappointed and dissatisfied

We were there last week-end for lunch. Unfortunately our experience was everything else then good. We had to leave w/o finishing our food. In the beginning it seemed all good. We ordered our food, it came, staff was friendly, food tasted also good. However as soon the food was served, a literal hive of Flies appeared, a swarm of dozens. Instead of helping us, or relocating or doing anything. The staff was watching us, talking to each other. Side note: there were more staff than guest. The flies were so aggressive, that we got upset, because none assisted us (under trained staff). You can’t tell me they were busy with lunch service, as there were only 2 tables occupied. Their. Excuses were hilarious and ridiculous at the same time. The flies are there suddenly since 3 days (but doing nothing against it, fly trap)? the food had partially flies already in it from the kitchen. Ma’m maybe because the food was old, standing there already for a while. That doesn’t make it any better.. the staff should think first before saying an excuse otherwise they make it only worse.

I visited their bar and spend lovely evening here to cap the second night. It was running late and had less crowd. Not so many staff and service is bit slow(understandable). Im not in rush. I got Bantayan Island Dream, a nice cocktail with a Bantayan local twist. It was refreshing similar to Piña colada. Fairly price cocktails Service: 4
