The food was great, service could’ve been better. I definitely come here for the drinks tho! They have a creative list of smoothies and juices and teas! Always made to perfecting.The food is worth the price.They just seemed very bothered either that we came in dressed the way we did, or they just straight up don’t like their jobs.Not sure why it matters when it’s summertime and people have swimming to do. Not like I came in a bikini.Just really didn’t appreciate the looks from behind the counter and the rude tone and rushiness to order. BUT go for the drinks!!

I ordered a sandwich to take out. While I was waiting, I walked around the store and found a befuddling assortment of stuff. Lipstick! Books! Housewares! Fake bin fronts showing things resembling lentils! Gardening stuff! In every case, the actual selection of each type of items was tiny or a one off. The prices, from expensive to exorbitant. But if you are in need of $108 pepper grinder they have one. While some of their items are unusual or hard to find, many are not. Now back to the sandwich. Small, lightweight and pricey. Tasty but not unusually so. They do seem to specialize in Modcakes Not your average flapjack, so maybe their main meal is breakfast/brunch. Bottom line: I just don 't get this place. With such a limited menu and high prices on both food and hardgoods, how do they stay in business? I must not be the correct demographic for it, but I can 't think of exactly who that would be. Oh well. If you, however, think this place is great (and the reviews show that a lot of people do), enjoy!

So good!! Highly recommend for a healthy start. I got the açaí cakes, which are gluten free and incredible!!! My husband loved his breakfast sandwich and the side of lime chai pudding.We are visiting, but might stop by again tomorrow before we leave.

Lemon Blueberry cakes were delicious, I just wish they were a little bigger.Service was just ok.Food: 5/5

What a find! Among the most delicious and healthy breakfast/brunch food in a soothing but light atmosphere. I had sweetcakes and cocoa. Both exceeded my expectations. If I lived in Santa Fe, I'd treat myself to The Modern as often as possible.
