La Cocina De Doña Clara - Santa Fe

This place is a lifesaver! I recently got hit by COVID and was craving some caldo. It turned out to be surprisingly hard to find soups on delivery apps, but La Cocina de Doña Clara came to the rescue. I ordered their caldo de pollo every day for about a week. The salsa that comes with the soup is excellent. I definitely need to visit in person to try more of her dishes!

Platz can be quite inconsistent. Some of the appetizers are good, but their chicharrones are cooked rather than fried, which makes them taste quite raw. They don’t prepare their dishes like most restaurants, so you might encounter some unexpected flavors.

I had a wonderful breakfast! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of. I will definitely return.

I ordered the caldo de pollo and it was just okay. the service was fast and the cash register was very friendly. overall I will probably give this place another attempt, but order something else.

Overall a great experience. It is true not everyone speaks English there. They get everything in your order correct. They also make excellent food. The barbacoa tacos are awesome. The menudo is also very good. They give 3 different types of salsa with the order and have cilantro, lime, and onions with the order. They even give grilled onions. Wait times to go is very quick . I really recommend this restaurant. Enjoy your meal. :
