Cafe Grazie - Santa Fe

Don't miss this hidden gem! It's in a strip mall but the ambiance was so sweet and inviting, the food was fresh and delicious. The white sangria .....mmmmm. Loved this place!

We had a wonderful dinner here with friends and we’re able to get reservations last minute on a Friday night. I know you may be thinking if this place was so good that wouldn’t be the case but it is that good. Our party was warmly welcomed to this intimate restaurant (maybe 25 seats), the atmosphere was as wonderful, softly lit and quiet. Our group had a variety of food, all were delicious although we probably waited over an hour for our entree’s. We didn’t mind because we were chatting and enjoying a nice bottle of wine but if time was of the essence this would be a consideration. Katia was our server, she was wonderful and just the right kind of attentive. I the prices were reasonable. I would come here again.

Had Grazie Pasta Pollo with Alfredo sauce. Overall flavor wasn’t bad. Chicken however felt like it was frozen, very tough. A bit pricey. Clean place and nice atmosphere though.

We celebrated the Holiday Season with lunch at this intimate Italian restaurant with a big personality. Don’t be put off by the location next to Dominos Pizza and overlooking the Albertson’s parking lot. Once through the front door you smell the sauce cooking and see the white tablecloths and contemporary art on the bright white walls, the exterior is forgotten. I ordered Salciccia Di Vitello (Ground Pork seasoned with Chili Piquin, Rosemary and Thyme and a Basil Garlic Marinara sauce, a house salad and a glass of chianti. The sauce had the deep rich flavor that comes when it cooks for hours over a low flame. Outstanding! My husband had the Prosciutto Caprese Panini with thin slices of Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella and Balsamic Glaze on House Made Bread (very flavorful with Tomato Garlic soup (especially good. For dessert we shared Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. The savoiardi (ladyfingers in the Tiramisu were moist with a hint of wine and the cheese layers were light and fluffy. It was topped with red and black raspberries on a white serving plate dotted with chocolate. The panna cotta (cooked creme , similar to creme brulee, was drizzled with raspberry sauce and a sculpted strawberry on the side. An upscale restaurant without upscale prices lunch ranges from $12 to $19 with $7 desserts. We are sure to be back for other lunches and dinners.

Small and quaint little Italian restaurant with limited seating. You can tell the owner is passionate about having a clean and Mediterranean feel to his/her place and has done a great job creating that atmosphere. The food was average on taste, not matching the expectations. Not a bad place, but in all my travels I couldn't rate this place in my top places to eat, but definitely would not cross it off my list of places to visit. Come see for yourself!
