Contribuiți la feedbackWe've been curious about the food and dessert here for a long time. Today finally got a chance and came by. It seems they have seasonal menu. We ordered pineapple Guava pork belly, chocolate bread pudding, mushroom cuffs. Everybody tastes good! And the cucumber limonade is also excellent. We would like to come back and try their cocktails next time.
Vim’s is one of the best restaurants I was in California. My server Eric was so attentive and attentive, he even called us before our reservation to ask the name of the birthday people and put it on the menu! He consistently checked to make sure we were good and it really felt like he was taking care of us. The duck, probably the best duck I had in a very long time, was the pork pliers so moist and cooked for perfection, the whole dish was. Every bite I took, I couldn't get enough of it. The pasta was there with the pork pliers, everything was simply amazing. Not to be repetitive, but the dessert was delicious, the strawberry choir was just perfect and the dark chocolate caramel filled cupcake just melted in my mouth. it wasn't even on the menu, and they threw it free for my birthday, I couldn't ask for better food or service for my birthday dinner. Vim’s is a top competitor for every restaurant in California with great portions, the top of the line attracts and desserts, and amazing service. I'm ready to go to Santa Cruz for her dinner. Very recommended!
We had such a great dinner and culinary experience at VIM. Our server, Erik, was there. We had ordered Scallops, but they would let us know later that they had no more. You have another dish of our choice for us. Totally unexpected and not necessary, but very appreciated. They even personalized the menu for my friend's birthday and had a decadent chocolate/brownie cupcake with a candle for them. We pampered some of the best tasting dishes in Santa Cruz: butter charcuterie semolina fries balsamico steak pork zartloin strawberry churro Libations: Ananas Cilantro Cooler 20 minutes Monday
This place was delicious! I would highly recommend! I am usually skeptical that pig tongues are dry and cooked over, but these are sous vide and we are perfect! The short rib was amazing and both had great sides and sauces! The desserts were amazing!
My fiancee and I love this place! Chef Jess is phenomenal, and the staff is always super friendly. On our last visit, my fiancee and I actually proposed to each other. We cannot recommend Vim highly enough!!
