Surf City Grill - Santa Cruz

We decided to get a quick lunch and Surf City Grill made it easy to order. The size of the corn dog was huge! And you can say it's fresh. The order came with regular fries, but had to try the garlic fries, and they were not disappointed. Waiting was not long and we could continue our day on the boardwalk. Great choice!

Surf City Grill owner Craig Moorhead, took our order and told us about the place! He even brought us our food! Great family atmosphere on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Loved the fried artichokes!

Give this place a 4 stars because the Texas Doughnuts they offer are fabulous. The woman and I have unfortunately received too many fried options for lunch and the experience was t great. We came back the next day to get a Texas doughnut. They were delicious.

Don't order the turkey dali sandwich. It's prefabricated what I didn't expect from a grill. I thought I ordered a fresh Deli sandwich. Had to wait 15-20 minutes. Prepacked, cheese was soggy and lettuce spoiled. I had better Deli sandwiches from a gas station convenience store. Definitely not worth $10. Save your money, order a grilled product or go to another food provider. The chicken-nugget combo and the corn dog were worth the purchase. Real chicken nuggets, not ground/processed chicken, large part, to share enough.

The zucchini were double fried in old oil, same as the garlic fries, the hamburger meat was cold, the quality of the food was very poor, definitely a place I would not eat again
