Contribuiți la feedbackThe husband and I decided to try something new and different in the area. We got both along with a surprise on how beautiful this place was. You walk in and see a nice sitting area, bookshelves along the hall way and walk way. The entire staff was inviting, welcoming and very pleasant. It was such a great experience. I ordered the eggs Benedict and coffee, he order the solaire breakfast . We both really enjoyed our food, experience and the service. Shout out to our server Lyla she was awesome and made the experience a little more memorable. Great place for family, friends, gatherings , party's, or just a staycation. Thank you for a great experience
This is our third or fourth stay at Hotel Paradox and one of the many reasons we love it is the terrific restaurant that has poolside dining with absolutely fantastic food. Brunch, bigger-than-tapas plates perfect for a poolside nosh, s'mores that elevate the campfire experience to elegant dining. A mid-afternoon drink? I'll have a Live Oak Bramble with bourbon, lemon and local blackberries, please. It is vacation, after all. Chef de Cuisine Beto Perez puts Solaire on the map of dining spots in downtown Santa Cruz. He's crafted a menu that highlights local produce with select items that have an Asian flair. It's California cuisine with a playful and inventive twist. Even if you're not staying here, come to Solaire for a drink, brunch with friends or an elegant dinner with moonlight and the best of California in and outdoor dining in this scenic and serene spot.
The Hotel Paradox!! amazing place to stay or just visit! Beautiful lobby and everyone is so nice. The pool is the perfect family place and the food is killer! Shrimp tacos with kimichi cabbage slaw and the best salsa for the homemade chips. The pork belly bao buns were decadent. The ahi wontons were fresh and crisp.... And drinks were strong and delish! They have fun pool parties all summer! Check them out! Great staycation/daycation
Decided to eat at the hotel. The restaurant nicely opens to the outside pool, yet the ambience needs some background music. The Caesar salad was portioned way to large and the Spicy Crab Bombas were very tasty and I ate them all. Service was great.
My wife and I went to Solaire for a dinner date. Our waitress Shirlyn was on point. I ordered the Samauri Beef Tenderloin and I could have licked the plate. The carrot bacon puree was light and airy with just a touch of bacon flavor. SO delicious! The tenderloin was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Broccolini, baby back potatoes and shitakes mushrooms were fresh, tender and perfectly seasoned. The new chef has upped the food game in Santa Cruz
