Omg, how do I try fresh planet now? apparently this burrito shop was closed for many of the pandemic, but I am so glad that they have opened again and I can enjoy it. as someone who eats a herbal diet, it is often hard to find a place that offers a satisfying vegan choice. planet fresh is now one of me to spots for a wonderful meal that also options for her meat eating friends as they find a problem eating on the first place. they have a varied Veggie menu that was my ears musical. there were so many options to choose from, but I went with the thai fresh burrito bowl $8 with a spinat tortilla on the side they make sure to ask this! . my bowl came with rice, a mixture of black and pint beans, zucchini, mushrooms and paprika in a drip sauce. my bowl was not only incredibly filled, but the ingredients were definitiw fresh and I loved to enjoy something at such a reasonable price. I came back another time and had her Cajun style burrito bowl it wasn't as good as the thai, so I will definitely get to what I know as delicious. to make their burrito or bowl vegan, they should ask for brown rice instead of Spanish rice as it is cooked in a chicken stable. great burrito, clean restaurant and very tasty. I look forward to coming back soon to try more of her veggie burritos.

The people that work there are nice, but ownership has got to get it together. Open one day, closed the next. Oh today you have to pick up your order next door at the bar. They 've done this several times now and as a former alcoholic it 's not cool AT ALL. Good burritos, terrible business.

This is not what it used to be. Quality is awful! Service is even worse. The burrito was tasteless, undercooked, and took a long time to make. Waited about 1 hour for three orders (2 burritos and one quesadilla). The service was also disappointing. A friend received the wrong item ordered a quesadilla and was given a burrito instead. No apologies or explanation just basically was handed the wrapped item in foil and told it 's food! Right. But when you pay for something you expect to receive what is ordered and paid for! The place also looks unclean and unsanitary. I 'm sorry this isn 't the hit hot spot for burritos in Santa Cruz any more. And that Covid health measures aren 't being followed as they should (face coverings, cleaning pens, counters after each customer etc). I 'm glad we haven 't had any health problems following our visit, other than the disappointing experience.
