Lulu Carpenters - Santa Cruz

Lulu Carpenter's is a charming place to enjoy breakfast or brunch. They offer a wide variety of sweet and savory dishes to choose from. If you haven't had the bacon-wrapped egg yet, it's definitely worth a try. They also serve all the classic café coffee and tea options, which I've found to be well-prepared. The staff is generally very friendly, although there are occasional exceptions. While indoor dining is currently unavailable, they do have some tables and chairs set up outside for customers. I highly recommend stopping by the next time you're in downtown Santa Cruz.

I am a huge coffee enthusiast and try it wherever I go. I can honestly say this is the best coffee I've ever had! I ordered a sugar-free hazelnut latte with macadamia nut milk, and it was fantastic. Plus, the customer service was wonderful!

This place is adorable! The terrace in the back offers a very private atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for working or studying. Although the restroom sign says it's not for public use, customers can ask for the access code. Their drinks are improving as well!

Were diverted here when the cafe we went to was closed. A great surprise! Had breakfast and coffee. The staff was friendly and efficient. He told me they Lao bake much if their goods in house. The breakfast biscuit and croissant were fantastic. Good strong coffee. There was seating outside.

Though i am not a fan of the food here, the espresso drinks and coffee are of the best in the Bar Area, in fact, i would make an excuse to drive to Santa Cruz from San Francisco just to have a hemp milk latte or 'hempaccino '. excellent downtown SC café with indoor and outdoor seating. Vegan options for the drinks including Rice, Soy, Almond, or Hemp milks. The food in not the most vegan friendly as most is sweet and has eggs and dairy, usually they have something vegan, but not always as it is dependent on the daily stock. Finding a seat inside on a cool day can be a challenge once UCSC begins sessions as it becomes full of laptops, and as much i enjoy using mine, i wish they would have a laptop free area as some people with laptops will stay for hours taking up space for two, though usually you can find one in front or in the back outdoor patio area as there tend to not be laptops in these areas due to the lack of plugs and screen glare.
