515 Kitchen and Cocktails - Santa Cruz

I would not go back to this place. While our waitress was pleasant there seemed to be a huge miscommunication with the kitchen but before I get to that let me say the outdoor area is pleasant and they are following covid protocols strictly even after CDC easing restrictions so you can take that as you 'd like. We went there because the menu says they offer rotating ramen we showed up after 5pm, we ordered drinks then attempted to place our order for ramen we were informed the kitchen didn 't have the ramen ready and it would be another at least 50min. After a few back and forth of communication between the kitchen and our waitress she said they may be able to do it sooner or maybe not and it ended up being tofu and prawns ramen...we ended up ordering fries and drinks and leaving. Just not good to advertise something that won 't be ready when customers arrive. Just bad bussiness practice so I wouldn 't go back or recommend wasting time on visiting.

Ordered Korean wings, Thai chicken with steam rice and peanut noodles. All three dishes were not pleasing at all. Even our classic margaritas was a fail. Don't let the pics fool you. Does not taste as good as it looks.

Wonderful bar and great Asian appetizers like their version of Lumpia, and their version of Korean fried chicken. Her Korean roasted chicken was So Crispy and Crunchy! It was soooo yummy! You also have great drinks! I recommend to drink the Ain 't life Grand it was a nice smokey whisky. We sat on the terrace that had heat lamps. Your terrace is dog friendly. You have toilets. Staff incredibly friendly.

Great atmosphere, nice people, funny music. Great food, great drinks. High on the price side, but a great place to go once with friends! Beautiful restaurant on the ground floor and a really cool lounge on the upper floor. Couches and comfortable seats and a really beautiful outdoor area. You're really funny. You take your check to an old book from the 70s. You always get another book.

This place seems very trendy and hipster. The drinks are very good. The menu includes truffle fries and pork belly along with a burger. It is nice and not typical beach or bar food.
