Very tasty ate and had a very good white wine!

Ayce Blue is in Ortisei. It has private parking. This is all you can eat buffet priced at 19.50euro. Here you will find a selection of hot or cold antipasti and salads. A choice of two soups and four types of pasta (pasta portions are small but good for a three/four course meal). Main hot courses change regularly. During our two visits there was fish, pork, chicken, beef and turkey .A varied selection of desserts and fresh fruit to choose from. You can finish off with some local cheese You pay for your drinks which are reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Buffet is open from 19.00 to 21.30. They also offer a cheaper rate from 18.0 to 19.00.

For many years that return to this hotel on the occasion of a trip in the area is always the basis of personal departure and very kind owners, a great breakfast with rich buffet and a great value for money, I will return.

It does me no pleasure to write such a poor review, but our dining experience at Blue Restaurant really was absolutely substandard, and I feel it is important other diners are made aware of this before you make the same mistake we did… Firstly, it’s ridiculously overpriced. Secondly, we ordered two Aperol spritz’, which we had to send back because they were so badly mixed (no Prosecco and literally so strong they were barely drinkable) only to be given the same drinks, just really watery and flat… Thirdly, for main, I ordered a vegan burger which was a tiny portion and came without a bun.. literally no bread whatsoever… I mean, it’s a burger… (which incidentally cost an extortionate €18) …and to top it off, the second main we ordered goulash was full of hair. Disgusting. We complained, the waitress came to the table and decided to inspect the dish herself, pulling the hairs out at the table.. totally unprofessional. She then walked off to the kitchen and never returned. In the end we just got up and left. We received no apology from the kitchen. Absolutely not acceptable. Very disappointed with the whole experience. TIP: Drive to Sankt Ulrich instead and find a nice restaurant there, there are plenty!
