One of the original staples of Korean food. This place is known for beef bone soup. They added to their menus throughout the years. They provide three kinds of homemade kimchee with all their main dishes. A must try in the Bay Area.Food: 5/5
Delicious beef-based soup. The way they make their soup is more pure tasting than Kunjip. Very nourishing!
They will demand you to tip even when eating alone.Very disrespectful period. These old waitresses made mistake on my order both times I came to dine in last two weeks and demanded tips as I was paying. Not to mention they put all side dishes(kimchi) mixed in a single container. They they tried to scold with me and that I should never come dine in.They thought they can shame someone by calling out not paying tips in front of other customers during Friday night but I felt zero shame, and had to educate these entitled ladies and put them in their place.See it for yourself:DO NOT TIP WHEN EATING BY YOURSELF AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.Know your rights and stop rewarding these people for solving problems they created first place.I tip well when deserved, and especially when dining out with 2 or more. But these sad people are ruining the business.I will just stick to Keunjip.
Korean food is pricy, yes. But most Korean restaurants I frequent in this area usually have both good service and great food. This restaurant offers neither. The staff there has a problem with both attitude and professionalism. And their food is simply, trashy. I have never had Korean bibimbap this bad. Avoid!
