The prime rib melts in your mouth and the shrimp scampi was excellent. We also tried a few of their martinis. There were are well made and went down easy. We are visiting from out of town but we will return when we come back to Santa Barbara.
This restaurant is a cozy steakhouse and bar that serves delicious steaks and prime rib. Make sure to come hungry as the portions are generous. They open at 5:00 pm for dinner, but the bar is open earlier if you'd like to enjoy a drink before your meal. I tried their Par cut of prime rib, which is their smallest size and it was still very satisfying. The steak was excellent, although the sides of potatoes and vegetables were just average. The dinner salad was great. My dining companion ordered the fried chicken, which was juicy and flavorful, but the batter/seasoning on the skin was not to their liking. For dessert, we shared a huge and delicious mud pie that we couldn't finish. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.
I always have a great time and enjoy delicious food at this restaurant. They serve the best prime ribs in town.
Walk in the door and be brought back in time about 50 years. The decor is vintage and well kept. The service is always with a smile. The drinks are stiff. The food is great choices that can’t be found at any other restaurant. Wine selection is very good. I love to overspend here!
Good sized portions, small place good for golfers. Would have liked more flavors in the foods
