Opal - Santa Barbara

The food was OK/fine, but nothing very special. The service was average, except that they tried to overcharge us at the end, by adding a $20 item that we did not order. I am not sure that that was an accident. They did promise to fix it, though.

Food was delicious. Outdoor area had heat lamps and so we stayed warm in the evening. My daughter has Celiac disease and they were knowledgable and did a great job accommodating her with a gluten free pasta dish. I had the special which was sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. Owner/manager checked on us. Upscale food but no snooty attitude.
