Mezza Thyme - Santa Barbara

Got take out. The hummus and toum were delicious. Really I didn't need or care about anything else. I'd buy the hummus by the gallon. I liked the beef empanada like dish- simple but delicious w toum.

I could eat here everyday. IT IS THAT GOOD. When their sister restaurant, Zaytoon, got rid of the chicken shawarma on their menu I was so disappointed. But Mezza Thyme still has it available for pickup! We regularly do the family meal which feeds our family of four for two to three meals. We add on the batata hara (potatoes) and fattoush salad (both my favorites) and CANNOT get enough of the garlic sauce. Run, don't walk, to do pickup from here!

The service was excellent, and the food was both delicious and served promptly! I absolutely loved the chicken shawarma; it was perfectly juicy and packed with flavor! As for the vegetarian options, the falafels were incredibly tasty and just the right size for a perfect bite.

Mezza Thyme has the best shawarma in the area! Food is amazing and service is fast. The hummus is fantastic and their handmade pita bread is delicious.
