Mesa Burger Montecito - Santa Barbara

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered a Hope Ranch grilled chicken sandwich without sauce, on a lettuce wrap with carrots instead of fries. However, when my meal arrived, the sandwich was drenched in sauce. The server offered to make a new sandwich, but when it came out, it only contained a piece of chicken and lettuce, missing the bacon, cheese, and tomatoes that should have been included. The chef seemed frustrated when asked to remake the sandwich without certain ingredients, and I overheard some commotion in the kitchen. To avoid further confusion and frustration, I decided to leave after finishing my carrots. The overall experience was not worth the high price I paid for a simple chicken sandwich. I will be going elsewhere for a better dining experience.

Great food, lots of patio and indoor seating, and very kid and dog friendly. We were looking for a kid friendly spot in Montecito. This place was perfect! The menu has a ton of options in addition to the traditional burger and fries. I had a salad and it was really fresh and delicious. One kid had grilled cheese and the other had buttered pasta- both were delicious. Kids meals come with carrots, apples or fries. My son wanted to ask the chef where he buys the apples because they were so good! Haha! And the staff were so friendly and helpful with any requests.

Stopped here a couple times for lunch on our way to/from the central coast and it always hits the spot. Great burger and really good fries. Salad is good too. Price is decent and service is nice wether eating in or taking out.

Make sure to visit this charming burger restaurant located in a upscale neighborhood! The service was excellent and the food was delicious, all at a very reasonable price!
