Contribuiți la feedbackFood was first rate, with steaks prepared exactly as ordered. Summer drink specials were very refreshing, and desserts were delicious. Staff acted as a team and were always available when needed. We were seated in the courtyard and loved the indoor/outdoor atmosphere.
Birthday celebration with the Martini and frites happy hour offering. Sweet patio, good service and in an easy pretty setting. This is a very dependable SB offering. The pizzas were delicious and ice cream and sparkling wine for the birthday person was appreciated.
While I know they just started brunch only 2 weeks ago, they need a little more time to really get it all together. Service, while everyone was super nice and helpful, we had to ask for our server to order as no one came around. As for food... please know this is one of my favorite restaurants in all of town for dinner, did not cut it. Husband 's omelet was fine but the the lobster roll was a big disappointment. It totally lacked any flavor and overall, I really didn 't enjoy it. And finally to add insult to injury, the fries while were well done as I asked for, but we sooo over salted that I couldn 't eat them. I would give it a few more weeks to get it all together.
This is our favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara. The food is always excellent. The service is great. This time we went for the Sunday brunch but they just started a few weeks ago. The short rib breakfast burritos were exceptionally good. The filet mignon enchiladas were wonderful and the bacon lettuce and tomato sandwiches were very tasty. They have wonderful mimosas and finished the brunch with a great cup of coffee. 
I have to say that we were at intermezzo on an evening when they had a huge party in the courtyard and back restaurant. They were also completely full in all other areas of the restaurants, indoors and out. And whereas they tried very hard to give their usual level of service, and quality of food it unfortunately failed. We were a party of five and four people were served their food and then it was about a 10 minute wait until the final person was served. Everyone waited, politely, for the final person to be served, so most of the food was, fairly cool, rather than hot. My dish of muscles was unfortunately quite cold. The muscles were cold and the fries were cold. Another member of our party had the same dish and his were at least warm. All I can guess is that my particular dish must've been set aside for someone else and Recycle to. It was also hard to get drinks and the final bill. Again, I put most of this down to the fact that they were very heavily booked in the back part of the restaurant. But they should have anticipated this and had extra staff on hand.
