Hideaway Santa Barbara, A Kirkwood Collection

Where do I begin? I can understand what everyone has said about not being very spacious but to be honest, what is made with the space given outshines that! Between the fireplace, very clean room, lovely decor, I felt very comfortable. I did not want to leave and breakfast was delicious! From the beginning one of the staff members Alejandra was very friendly and accommodating compared to any other place I have stayed at. Although a tight fit for parking, staff was able to find a space for our ridiculously big truck haha! The location of The Hideaway is very convenient and within area of restaurants and nearby the beach. I would stay here again and recommend to any friend or family member!

Fabulous all around. The lady that checked us in was kind and helpful. The staff during the day were so sweet. The room was stunning and breakfast was delicious. Overall, would definitely stay here again. Loved every moment of this great place.

Wonderful place to stay and 10 min walk to the beach 15 min to Stearn Wharf. Fresh out the kitchen breakfast included. My room was perfect for my two girls and me they each had their own bed. Plan on returning in the fall.

The Hideaway is a beautiful place in a good location in Santa Barbara. Walking distance to the pier, the Funk Zone, lots of restaurants, cafes, etc. Alex and Tracey were such sweet people and gave us helpful local information. On top of this, the room is clean, cozy and stylish. This was a great way to take a break from the quarantine, while staying in a place that is clean and takes the safety precautions seriously. Thank you to Alex and Tracey for hosting us, we loved it here. Lila

An interior designer's paradise! The staff are so welcoming and sweet. I had a sore throat the evening I got there and the receptionist quickly fetched some tea and honey. The fireplace and sitting area were so warm and inviting from a cold, foggy night. We were greeted with a glass of champagne too! How special! Our room was well kept and modern. You can really see the level of detail that went into restoring this place (not even a year ago). Breakfast was delicious and comfort food unlike anything I've ever had before. You can really feel the love in everything they do here. The owner was kind and offered us a wonderful place to walk off the beaten path. I wish I could visit all the time!
