Prairie Star Restaurant

Food and wine were fantastic for the price, amazing views and had a great server with a friendly personality. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning for more. Only thing bad about my experience were the chairs very uncomfortable backings but the wine fixed that quick.

Great place for quiet diner date. Had a wedding party in large room which seemed to affect the rest of the diners' service times. Still wonderful meals and ambiance.

The last 2 times we've went for Birthday dinners fist time the food was great with the exception of the risotto it was bland and grainy. Last night we went for dinner and the NY strip was ordered Med Rare came out med well no pink whatsoever. I didn't send it back just ate it but not my desired temp. And whoever trimmed the steak left no lip on the NY.

Lousy. Our waitress kept trying to catch a pesky fly with her bare hands, there were cobwebs on the light fixtures, steaks were severely overdone and after sending them back, we waited forever to get new steaks that were still overdone. The hostess was missing for several minutes when we arrived because the staff was attending to a wedding. The wait staff was carrying on joking at the bar instead of waiting on patrons (us). We hadn't been there for several years for many of the same reasons.

Excellent food and service! Staff was friendly and helpful.
