Cabaña Don Manuel - Santa Ana

Best casual restaurant in San Jose metro! Great food, HUGE portions (the bocas are a full meal for one), atmosphere, and great prices. My go to place for a fun night out. Went to dinner including drinks and beers for 9 people, out the door for 88 mil.

Ceviche was Amazing! Had pork with rice and beans..it was just ok. I guess coming to Costa Rica I had much higher expectations for the local cuisine. Best meal so far was a Chinese restaurant...who'd a thunk

As a vegetarian they were nice enough to accommodate their dishes for me. I had nachos and quesadia which were made vegetarian. Both dishes were just okay and needed more flavour. However, the staff and service are very nice.

Great place, bit too crowded usually, so better call in for a reservation.
