Contribuiți la feedbackI attended the free salsa dancing lessons followed by social dancing at this restaurant. It was a great idea to look for something free and enjoyable to do on a Saturday night. The event takes place on the first Saturday of the month, and I hope it continues in the future. The crowd was friendly and included dancers of all levels, from beginners to intermediate. While advanced dancers may not typically attend, it would be great if they did! Overall, I highly recommend attending this event when you have nothing else to do on the first Saturday of the month.
After landing at John Wayne Airport I was looking for a late dinner in the Santa Ana area. I had no idea vegan bratwurst existed, but I'm glad I visited this restaurant. I ordered two styles of vegan sausage apple and sage and Mexican chips with grilled onions grilled peppers and grilled jalapeños. Everything was delicious! Who would have thought? It makes a nice change from Asian vegetarian foods usually get. Worth a visit.
I love this place! They have four vegan options, clearly marked. There are two rolls, but only one is vegan, the traditional grinder (also marked). The Mexican spyman is my favorite. Usually I stop here before/after seeing something at Frida Kino or Art Walk. They are open quite late, which is perfect, but sometimes on weekends their dining area/bar can be crowded and loud. Usually for a few friends we find seating good, but if we have a larger group, it is difficult.
With my non-vegan brother and his family we loved everything we have. I agree with the other review that I did not board with the non- vegan options, but it was nice to find really good food with my family where no one had to compromise. My treasure was spicy and delicious!!! I liked that non-local beer because I hadn't tried anything from those I had alone. Well recommended if you eat!
Beautiful cool German beer cellar style place order hot dogs at the entrance area then on the back to order beer while the hot dogs are prepared. Many beers available, but perhaps try too hard to be European instead of promoting local brews that can be just as good. Some strange not veggie hot dogs that might put some people out of wild boar? Alligator? and veal, which is likely a deal breaker for me in view of some other options in the area.
