Tex Wasabi - Santa Ana

We were ignored by a waitress over 15 minutes after sitting. the restaurant was not busy. when another waitress came by to wait for us. it was extremely loaded, even if you sit outside. would not go back to this restaurant.

I loved tex wasabi. it was one of my favorite restaurants to go. I wanted to order the BBQ plate with a gringo sushi. the gringo sushi is still good as the appetizers we have. but the bbq and mac and cheese went down. it tasted all microshaft and dry out. the mac and the cheese were barely cheesey and which cheese was down there had a terrible texture, not the creamy one I remember. and the meat was really dry. I have eaten the meat even without BBQ sauce, but this time even with BBQ sauce it wasn't great. big let me down and I loved coming here before.

We went to lunch on Tuesday. very quiet...not many customers. service was good and the food was excellent. the prices were typical of northern California. on the menu there is a good selection. three of us we had pulled pork sushi, cobia fish tacos, and grilled chicken soup with udon noodles. all were very good. we will go back!

Celebrating my Husband's birthday we enjoyed the interaction at the sushi bar. Friendly staff and the rolls were outstanding! Our must go to place when we visit Santa Rosa, Ca.

From bartender to food servers, always an enjoyable time drinking eating.
