Somboon Thai Food - Santa Ana

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. It has been years since my last visit to this restaurant, and I am sad that I have moved out of state. However, this place is truly a hidden gem. The food is delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The service is also very good and friendly. My all-time favorite dish is the beef salad – it is absolutely amazing. I am confident that their service and food quality have remained consistent over the years. The restaurant seems to be family-owned and run, which adds to its charm. I hope to visit again soon!

I visited this restaurant with high hopes for some delicious Thai food, but was sorely disappointed with the quality. I ordered the spring rolls for $10 and was surprised to find only half a shrimp inside, with the rest filled with lettuce. The fried rice was decent, although it had a large piece of tomato in the middle. Overall, I would not recommend dining here.

I ordered pad see ew from DoorDash and the food was fantastic. The noodles were perfectly chewy and I chose pork and shrimp. I would definitely return and would like to dine in to experience the service.

Gave me the wrong dressing on a delivery order as they were out of the advertised one. But they did make it right. Good service.

Best Thai in Santa Ana we eat there 2-3 times a month. Always made the way we ordered it and best flavor.
