Simply Sweet Cakes - Santa Ana

My friend ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate cream filling. While the cake was beautifully decorated with fresh strawberries, it was unfortunately dry and lacked flavor. There's really nothing special about it; you could find a better-tasting cake at Albertsons. I left feeling quite disappointed.

This is now my favorite bakery for birthday and celebration cakes. They do an amazing job—absolutely stunning cakes!

The cake was delicious, but the customer service was disappointing. I felt like the staff member was doing me a favor by selling me an overpriced cake. There may have been some racial bias at play as well. Regardless, I was pleased with the cake itself, but I didn't appreciate her attitude. Thank you for the wake-up call!

I can't express how thrilled I am to have finally discovered an incredible bakery in Orange County. For the past eight years, I've been driving to Los Angeles to pick up cakes, but this year I was determined to find a local option. I sent a picture of a cake I found online to Simply Sweet Cakes, and they perfectly recreated it for me. I kept questioning whether they could really replicate it and if they could make the pine cones, to which the owner just laughed. I was so worried it wouldn’t turn out well. The result was a 9-inch round vanilla cake filled with delicious chocolate mousse and covered in buttercream frosting. It was so fresh and light, beautifully decorated. My guests loved it, and I can’t wait to order from them again. Thank you for the most delicious birthday cake!

I was extremely pleased with their service and the result of the cake. I sent them a photo of a cake I found online, and they did an incredible job replicating it with all the details! The cake was a huge hit. The customer service was fantastic throughout the entire process, and the cake tasted amazing too!
