Gail's Grand Avenue Lunch Co

It is a classic Korean sandwich lunch shop that means and deep value sandwiches, burritos and teriyaki plates. Chicken, egg, tuna salad sandwiches were good. Mac salad is curiously good. Potato salad was standard. Legends talk about their Thursday chicken curry on rice that sells quickly. It is a hole in the wall in a business complex, but with the find. Korean lady in the checkout is also a Hoot.

This is a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The prices are fair and competitive with other similar places. The customer service is exceptional—everyone is super friendly, warm, and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

I love how much meat/content they put in their sandwiches compared to Corner Bakery (CB) or other sandwich sites. You can probably add 3-4 more sandwiches with the meat portion they give you compared to CB (1 paper thin slice turkey folded in 1/2 to make it look thicker). I usually order the chicken or tuna salad sandwich. Hits the fair price. Excellent fast service.

Gail's is undoubtedly one of Orange County's best-kept secrets! The food is fantastic, the menu offers a wide variety of choices, and the portion sizes are quite generous. What I appreciate most is that the staff remembers your name, favorite dishes, and preferences. I love that it has been a beloved establishment for nearly 50 years, serving generations of customers. As a female-minority-owned business, it holds a special place in the community. Here's to hoping it continues to shine in Orange County for many more years!
