828 Pho - Santa Ana

Its a fantastic little shop with clear vision and really tasty flavors. Some of their knife work is a bit sloppy (onions don't need to be solid cubes bigger than cherries, do they? and the table service is more of an order and delivery service, nobody checks up on you. BUT having said all of that the food is what brings me back time and again, the pho has the best broth I've ever had, the vermicelli comes in a gigantic bowl topped with all sorts of goodies, and the braised fish is divine. If they can just hammer out those few hiccups, they can earn that last star.

I ordered freshy rolls. It was alright. Nothing too special.

Pretty standard Pho. First time I've seen Spanish and English on a Pho menu I got the combo pho and the tendon was cooked nice and meatballs were good.

Little jewel in a lively area. The broth was pretty good, I enjoyed the well cooked knots, and the service was wonderful. I'd look at my local goto pho restaurant.

Once I almost cried out and the guy said, don't worry I'll wait your order ready for you! I call that” Great customer service!! And every time I get in, they're so fast. All employees are great! Stuck on the shrimp fried rice one side of stir fried vegetables. It's delicious!
