Food was amazing. It was the best french toast I've ever had !!! I highly recommend trying this little gem, you will not be disappointed!

For the most gorgeous, chic and delicious brunch dishes in Southern Sydney, you need to visit this beautiful corner side café in Sans Souci. I dined here recently on a stunning, sunny wintry June day where the sun was out, the coffees were flowing and the dishes were plentiful.<br/ <br/ Let's start with the drinks. Order anything from your standard flat white or espresso, or go a bit fancy with a matcha latte. Or feel like something a bit fruity and fresh? There are a range of smoothies and iced drinks to tempt you and cool you down as well.<br/ <br/ And as for the food, the menu re invents classic breakfast and brunch dishes adding modern flair and new flavour combinations.<br/ <br/ We tried the following dishes:<br/ Coconut chia pudding enjoyed the creaminess of this chia pudding.<br/ Acai berry bowl for something healthy, this is the go to dish.<br/ The pancakes fluffy buttermilk pancakes served with berry compote.<br/ The French toast the crispiest French toast I've ever eaten! The secret was in the panko crumb crunch. Smothered in an addictive caramel sauce and topped with nut praline. This dish is was one of my faves.<br/ The Rosie benny as far as eggs benny's go, this is by far the prettiest I've ever eaten with it's signature house made pink benedict sauce.<br/ The corn fritters one of the best corn fritters around, the amount of juicy corn kernels inside was generous and gave these fitters a nice denseness that was well balanced with the batter.<br/ The pretty smash who doesn't like smashed avo on toast?<br/ The Cypriot salad the blend of freekah, currents, pomegranate, seeds and beetroot hummus was like a party in your mouth!<br/ <br/ I can't wait to go back to try the dishes again, this is a neighbourhood gem in San Souci, tucked away in the residential streets, but close enough to the beach.<br/ <br/ Note: I dined as a guest of the venue. Eating at Cafe Bella Dee was a fantastic experience. The cozy corner cafe has a welcoming entrance and a cozy interior with ample seating, although a bit cramped. My preference was to sit outdoors. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu is diverse and reasonably priced. The highlight for me was the caramel caramilk twirl pancake special, showing their commitment to staying current with trends. Fritters are a personal favorite of mine and often not seen on many cafe menus, but they are not overlooked here. I highly recommend trying them as well!
