But they are offering you splendid ingredients such as French Scallops, San Remo Shrimp and premium meat and poultry from the finest providers. The dining room features Murano Glass Chandeliers and a beautiful view of the sea. While there may be more avant garde restaurants in town, this is the place to settle in and remember ist isxpect, the wine lwhat brought well heeled tourists to the Italian Riviera in the first place. Bravo. A Five Star Hotel that really is five star with a tradition of sophisticated hospitality. as you would expect, the wine list is extensive and just a bit overpriced.

So yes a lazy choice staying at the Royal Hotel, I chose their in house restaurant. Now I am sure there are many good options in SanRemo. This is one of them. I like a bit of old fashioned pampering and this is what Fiori de Murano does. Lots of attention, good focaccia nibbles before you start. I had a fine trenette al pesto di pra, rich and just al dente enough to remind me this is not France or the UK. This was followed by turbot Milanese with sour artichokes never has that before. The point is that this not cheap, but it serves good food and wine with local colour. Fresh and flavourful. One day everything may be fusion or pizza, but for now there are good things like this place. Put on jacket, polish your shoes and go!
