Wanlik-Hus - Sankt Peter-Ording

We visited Wanlik Hüs for dinner. The restaurant is located in the heart of St. Peter village in the oldest building in the city. The menu is typical of the region: fish dishes and lamb. The food was very good, and the staff was very friendly and polite and very helpful when we had problems with one of our dishes. Absolutely recommended if you want a typical “northern Germany Dinner”!

We went on a beautiful sunny (and windy) day and decided to serve outdoors in their luxurious covered pastures beach chairs as the perfect wind protection. We ordered a place and shrimp on omelet and baked potatoes. Both dishes were excellent. Service was very attentive check-in on outdoor guests regularly, but not disturbing. Definitely worth a return to another occasion.

A restaurant that did what it should do! We had a family dinner with our dog the food was ok with a children's menu. Service was fast and friendly. No skin food, but okay. Only minus cash accepted!

Hallihallo, we stayed at the Wanlik-Hüs on 06.08.2017. the service was very friendly and nice. our food came very fast, and was tastefully perfect, although the restaurant was fully booked. we were very enthusiastic and like to come back.

We have been making vacation in st for 15 years. Peter-Ording and regularly visit the wanlik üs, also this evening (06.08.17). the ambiente is still the most beautiful in st. Peter-Ording, but the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly compared to the previous year, and unfortunately also the service. the fish dishes we had ordered (3 people) were not served at the same time, but were treated quarterly. the quality of the fish (green hering, brathering, matjes at the labskaus) and the bratkartoffels as well as the soup cream was worse than somewhere else in st. Peter-Ording, and my wife and daughter, it was even bad after eating. to my question why so much has changed compared to the previous year, the operation of "the new hosting".The wanlik hüs has so far been one of the best addressed in st. Peter-Ording. this is no longer. we will avoid it with great regret in the future. wolfgang
