The Wood House - Sāngli

Good food. Serves simple dinner. Not very pricey. Affordable. Serves only veg food. Tasty food. Will be a very good choice for dinner of more than 4-5 people. 13 people dinner of ours at this hotel made the bill of Rs.1110 which is good and adequate. Easily visible on the road. Do give a visit once.

Wood House at Sangli. There are 2 of these Wood House restaurants so look out for this specially. Packed with locals is a good signal that something good is cooking Was very hungry so called for a soup. A veg Manchow Soup was a risk to order but it really was tasty. Sliced off with Masala Papad was a good layer to begin with. Then came Shandga (wet variety), a yummy tomato burjee, veggie salad and fabulous chappatis. It was a wholesome meal and Tummy was content .. Service was super. Owner also at hand so very efficient. Prices were also very reasonable. All above at Rs.635/ Restaurant is tiny but a must visit. Next time around will try the different Maharashtrian dishes on their menu, including the very tempting Palak Rice

We had Bhendi fry, Methi besan, Paneer Tikka and Tomato bhurji in vegetables. Butter chapati is available which is a plus. Food is great. Tomato bhurji at new Woodhouse is great but wasn't good here. When visited for the 1st time the taste was good but not its little ok ok type. One more thing (for hotel) please keep the facility to scan QR and also swipe machine for ease of customers.
