Otters On The River - Sanford

The experience at this restaurant was terrible! We only dined here today because of the nearby Bonkers Comedy Club, outdoor flea market, and pool with various attractions. Unfortunately, every time we went, the service was extremely slow, even when it wasn't busy. We waited for ages for our drinks to be served, and the servers seemed to have little knowledge about the menu. The food was also disappointing. Despite loving the location, we don't plan on returning due to the lackluster food and service.

The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and everything else went smoothly. Unfortunately, the following day, everyone in our group experienced stomach issues. The only common dish we had was the nachos. I would recommend steering clear of the nachos.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and unfortunately, my expectations were not met. I had come specifically for oysters, but they were not available. The shrimp I had instead were cooked well. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals. When I ordered a dirty martini and inquired about the type of vodka they used, the server and bartender seemed to think all vodka was potato-based. Despite their efforts, it is important to have realistic expectations when dining here.
