Oasis On The River - Sanford

I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, primarily for lunch rather than the bar or pool. The food is consistently good, although I have noticed some changes in prices and portions over the past two years. The atmosphere is fun and unique, with a nice view overlooking a swimming pool and the river.

My husband took me here for Valentine’s Day in hopes of eating outside. The ambiance outside is nice. However we didn’t because it was cold outside. The inside need a remodel. Its kinda of ran down. But the waitress was so sweet attentive. Some patrons were loud annoying but it was ok. The food was decent for a great price. They have an events calendar I wouldn’t mind checking out.

We ordered the crabcake sandwich, fried pickles, and Oasis burger at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed with the food quality and feel that we should have saved our money. Although we do not mean to be rude, it is true that the food was terrible. In response to the restaurant's reply, we must clarify that we were not rude to anyone during our visit. The young lady who took our order was very nice, and we had no reason to be impolite. After reviewing other customer feedback and your responses, we believe that it is you (the restaurant) who comes across as rude. We will not be returning to your establishment as your customer relations are lacking.

My husband and I shared a delicious seafood platter at this restaurant. There was plenty of food for both of us! The inside of the restaurant was clean and had a large bar and dining area. Outside, there was a unique setup with a pool, a stage for bands to play, and another large bar. The restaurant also had boat docking behind it, which was convenient for us. There are private slips available, so be sure to look for signs. We have been to this restaurant a few times for live bands in the evening, but this was our first time visiting during the day. The only downside was that the drinks were a bit expensive.

Food,drinks,swimming and music often on the weekends. Sanford locals know this hang out well. What more can you ask for.
