Luisa's Wine Cellar - Sanford

The restaurant has closed down, but when it was open, it was a great spot to relax, enjoy some delicious desserts, and, of course, sip on some wine. It's sad to see them go.

I have visited Luisa's Cellar twice and both times I was amazed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and cozy. Mary recommended the perfect wine for me and my friend, who treated me to a birthday dinner. We enjoyed the Mediterranean platter and charcuterie, which were delicious. It saddens me to see the restaurant closing, but I will definitely follow Mary and Sasha to their new location in the Carolinas.

Oh my gosh, this restaurant is incredible! We tried both the Mediterranean platter and the charcuterie board, and they were both delicious. We asked the server to choose a wine for us and her selection was perfect. I'm sad to hear that the business is relocating to North Carolina just as I discovered it, but I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. Maybe I'll visit them in North Carolina!

This is the most charming place in downtown Sanford. The outside patio is like a tranquil hidden oasis. We went on a Friday evening and had the pleasure of listening to live music by John Mazz (he's AMAZING). The patio area is dog friendly and so we brought our sweet dog Chloe with us and Mary kindly brought her a bowl of water. Sascha gave us a tour of the upstairs speak easy and it's decorated beautifully!Cheers!
