Amazing prices, great atmosphere, and to top it off the two guys working were the friendliest and efficient workers I have come across in a long time! Keep up the good work guys we will be back.
My first visit was sort of a special one as a new friend of mine went out with me to Emily 's. I 've driven past it many many times but just have not made the stop. The building itself is fine. Looks like they may have transformed an apartment building into what it is now. There is another Restaurant taking up residence on the other side. Anyways, as I walked in I noticed it was smaller than I thought. With a handful if tables and some bar seating. Plenty of light shines through the bay window. Out table was not wiped off, I 'm chalking it up it as an oversight even though there was no other customers there at the time. Our Server was almost too attentive as he came over multiple times in a short period to see if we we 're ready to order. Once we had decided,he never came back haha. I walked up to him to let him know we were ready. Cooked in an actual wood fired open oven, you can even see the flames. The food arrived hot and fresh. I had the Potato Pizza, which consists of a homemade mashed potato base cheese, bacon, scallions, and chives. I did receive any sour cream as it states on the menu. Fantastic. The crust was cooked to perfection, the whole pizza was delicious. I 'll be back for another visit soon.
Small portions, and not really worth the price. I ordered two pizzas and got one chocolate milk, and that was about $30. The pizza is extremely greasy/oily and in not s good way eithe
Wood fired pizza...that is the phrase that beckoned me. It's been so long since I have had any decent pizza as I have lived in southern indiana for the last 10 years. Emily's wood fired pizza was the answer I was looking for. It's a small place and you can see the wood burning oven. We ordered the four cheese pizza. I cant even describe how good it was. The crust was the perfect Italian crust and the sauce was neither too sweet or too spicy. It was perfect Italian tomato pizza sauce. The cheeses blended so perfectly with just the smallest amount of oil on top. I know it's silly to get so jazzed about pizza, but when you have been deprived of it for so long it was just a little slice of heaven. I highly recommend and it was priced right as well.
Best pizza/pasta ever!! Definitely stop try it if you're in the area!! You will not be disappointed
