The salmon was overcooked and very dry, to the point that it was hard to eat, and almost flavorless. Could not finish it. Fried okra had no flavor at all and was very tough. Could not finish that either. I am hungry.
Such a lovely atmosphere with such attentive and great staff. We came for a family reunion and everyone was entertained. Especially the kids loved the foozeball table and couch.Food: 5/5
Food was pretty good. Great atmosphere very welcoming and friendly. Okra was the best and fresh cut tomatoes.Kid-friendliness: Games for children
I love 'cue! My wife and I are visiting friends in Atlanta, and our first stop after arriving was lunch at QN2. I can 't say enough about how great this place is. It ticks all the boxes for a local BBQ joint. Very friendly service where the vibe was a place like Cheers where everyone knows your name. Our server , Jamie, was terrific very helpful with suggestions of some of her favorites. She also checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything. But, of course, most importantly is the food. And QN2 delivers! We sampled some great food! Chicken, ribs, brisket, smoked turkey (on a salad if you want BBQ light), fried okra, beans, slaw, corn bread, garlic toast, and jalapeño cheese grits. While everything we had was first rate, the highlights for me were the ribs(fall off the bone and succulent, great tangy sauce) the slaw was one of all time favorites (if you like it a little on the sweet side, which I do), the brisket was smoky and fork tender, and the jalapeño cheese grits were amazing! The creamy cheese balanced with just enough jalapeño bite. I can sum it up in just one word Go!
I used to come here years ago when this was called Slopes to have lunch with my father. I loved the cheese biscuits and the pork rinds. He's gone but his car tag is on the wall.I was nervous at first when i saw the name change but I found out it is still the same old restaurant that I knew. I like the ribs, they are reasonably priced and good with baked beans and fries.Regrettably i can't come as often as I used to but I will try in the future.
