The place is spotless and neat, the music they play is A and the big painted wall on the background of an outdoor Cafe of what I assume to be in France is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious as well. The issue I have with Cafe Vendome is the items you see pictured here, plus a chocolate croissant, almond croissant tip was quite expensive... and I mean overly expensive. I don't mind paying for good food and a nice environment to eat my food in but it feels like they are high on cost just because of the area they are in. Because of this, although i would say I enjoyed their food, I can't say I'd go back or recommend anyone to go, unless you want to easily spend almost $100 on a few items.@ddfmariettaroswell in Roswell is still my undisputed favorite French breakfast spot ?Pictured hereCroque Monsieur It was tasty but their choice of bread was not my favorite. A little on the dry sideHam Cheese Croissant Their croissants are flaky and perfect. Very goodFrench Toast GREAT French toast. I think maybe it was CHALLAH bread?Cold and Iced Chai Teas#rolieats #goodeats #goodfood #frenchfood #frenchbreakfast #cafevendome #sandysprings #expensivebreakfast #croquemonsieur #croassant #chaitea #thesearchcontinues
We come in and there is one person in front of us ordering. So we move to the next cashier and order with him. We both said we wanted a latte to go. And it was $20. For 2 lattes?? So we wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. Like 10+ minutes for 2 lattes. So not only did we pay way more than a latte is worth but now we 're wasting our time too? When our drinks finally come out. One is in a togo cup and the other is not. We say oh sorry this was actually supposed to be togo to because we had plans. Plans which did not include waiting this long for coffee. The girl just takes the mug back and dumps it very messily into a tiny togo mug. We ordered 2 16 oz lattes and she gave us a 10oz mug. So we didn 't even get what we paid for. She purposely poured half of that drink out. Really? Because you made a mistake when making it? And now you take our money and time and then have an attitude about fixing your own mistake? And you can 't even give us what we paid for? Never coming back. This place is over priced and mediocre at best.
Had a latte and espresso to drink they were both delicious. They serve Intelligentsia coffee which is already one of my favorites. We also had a plain croissant which was buttery and delicious!Food: 5/5
Plenty of sitting space indoors and outdoors. Their food and coffee were good. Relatively quiet place with a good wifi if you wanna work!Food: 5/5
Lovely shop, lovely staff, mediocre coffee. The prices are INSANE. $11+ for a cup of coffee with a shot!!! I know costs are up, I know supply issues are real, but that’s easily 30-40% more (37% more than $8) than I’ve paid anywhere else in Atlanta, including places like Ponce City Market where everything is expensive. The price here is unjustifiable.Edit: having read many other reviews it’s clear that I’m not the only one that thinks this place is shockingly overpriced. You can get the same beverage 100ft away at The General Muir for HALF the price. This place is gouging you. Unless they change to more realistic prices that match fair market value AVOID.Edit edit: same drink plus an up charge for oat milk and a tip was $8 at Ponce City Market.
