The Corral - Sandusky

We were delighted to find a Golden Corral still operating, and it did not disappoint. We had a large family gathering nine of us went there. The steak, ribs ham were all great, and everyone had whatever they wanted. The dessert bar was a bit skimpy, and the ice cream machine was only giving vanilla, but we had a great time using the party room.

Do yourself favor and go to other places. You’ll find better options and quality.

A waitress at golden coral threw away a cup that wasn’t hers and she was yelled at for it obviously. Of course she was mad or pissed off but she started being super racist to an asian family. Terrible attitude and she was making so many smart remarks. 3 kids 2 parents. The mom was the one who, said waitress was being rude to and the mom comes back crying, her face puffy, red eyes, etc. The mom had kindly asked the waitress to wipe down a table that was obviously not clean. There were crumbs and dirt on the table and it was very visible. The waitress wiped down half of the table and threw down straws, then walked away. The mom kindly asked the waitress again if she could waive down the other side of the table. The waitress said something on the lines of, “i literally just wiped down that table but fine.” Then proceeded to clean the other size of the table for the family of 5. The waitress had completely ignored the fact that the mom was crying, maybe even sobbing, until she realizes that many people saw how horrible she was. She said she was sorry to the mom and started patting her back. You could tell the apology was very fake and only given because she didn’t want to be fired. It’s so horrible to see this stuff happen and people need to prevent this stuff from happening. The food was great, nothing crazy or too special. This is so sad and has to be embarrassing for the other employees. Overall 2/2.5 stars.

My friends got the chicken and waffle fries and left very unsatisfied. Meanwhile, I ordered the pizza and was sent straight to food Nirvana. I've never tasted food that delicious before and I'm honestly contemplating driving 4+ hours back to Cedar point just to try it again. ?

Chicken tenders were good. Fries were so cold at the end of the night. They were garbage. Needed a lot of catsup to remedy.
