Narmada Resort - Sanavad

After visiting Omkareswar and Mamleswar, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. The reception, restrooms, and dining hall were spacious and tidy. The dining hall provides a beautiful view of the Narmada river and the Omkareswar temple. The menu consists of vegetarian dishes, reflecting the veg-only nature of Omkareswar. We tried the Indian food, which was delicious and well-prepared. The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly and efficient. If you have a car, this restaurant is a great option for lunch or dinner after visiting the temple.

This is a very good resort for stay in OMKARESHWAR. Rooms are big, neat and clean. Management behavior is also very good. Please make sure that you have reservation in advance from the official website. Good place to stay.

The rooms are very poorly maintained. In fact, in the corner rooms you can't open the balcony door because it completely stinks around the nearby area. Bathrooms are not the cleanest and dont inspire any confidence. What is weird is that the Narmada Resort in Maheshwar is brilliantly maintained and this one sucks in comparison.The food is decent though. The problem? Slow service. Given that large families come to this place, the amount of time taken to deliver food is really slow.

The restaurant is situated on the bank of river Narmada on top of a hillock and very close the famous Omkareshwar Jyotirling. The food is really good and the service staff extremely helpful.
