Sinbad's - San Xavier

Apparently Sinbad's and the Turkish Kebab house are one in the same? We got the baba ganoush and the mixed kebab platter. The baba ganoush was not good. The eggplant had been seared to create a smoky flavor, but it was still mostly raw, not well roasted, so there was no depth of flavor. The mixed kebab platter was decent, except that it didn't come with any sauces for the meat. So it was just intensely salty (as shawarma and gyro meat tends to be). I don't know if it was intentionally served this way, but half of the meat was room temperature.

Loved the service, atmosphere, and food. Came to Tucson just to try it. It was very authentic and reminded us of our time in Turkey. We enjoyed the breakfast spread with a few more breakfast items. Will definitely return!

I had their Turkish breakfast spread and it was delicious and fresh! Their atmosphere makes you feel like you're dining in Turkey and the service is outstanding!

Great food, wonderful owners and waiters. Will definitely try again. Can't speak enough good!
