I have eaten a lot of steak everywhere in the world some good, some bad, some really good, and very few were outstanding. The Bistecca Fiorentina we had here last night was definitely in the “outstanding” category and it may well be the best meat I ever had! The fresh pasta with boar was already a treat, but the Fiorentina was just wow! Service was very good too and the location is Post card Tuscany.

We stopped here for dinner last night and found the most amazing terrace with view on the countryside and sunset. However the food was a let down, very average considering prices. Also I’m celiac and the only bread they could offer me was rice cakes, which again is not good enough when the bill for two courses came to €100.
