Pizzeria Il Platano - San teodoro

Actually we stay in this lovely hotel, so we thought its worth to take a try a dinner here. The garden of the restaurant is quiet nice, a swimming pool with tables to eat and have a drink, lounge music is played. We had the spritz for €4, a typical northern Italiy cook tail, which is good and some chips will be served at the same time. In the summer evening I would say it 's really a wonderful Italian Uexperience , then we ordered the pizza, which is good and the price is reasonable(about €8), anyway the service is really good and young people who works here are always with smile. It would be a great experience for whom stay in San Teodoro to have a dinner in this place, but remember come and have a apertized before the dinner, around 19:00, next to the pool, you won 't be disappointed!

Ate here on our first night in San Teodoro as we were staying in the hotel and hadn't found our way around yet. Was expecting this to be a basic pizza/pasta joint, but I couldn't have been further wrong. The menu is full of traditional Sardinian dishes, and what we had was of a 5* quality. The antipasti platter to share was fantastico, with lots of fresh seafood including octopus, mussels and fish. I had a Sardinian style pasta dish with fresh clams and tomato, and my girlfriend had a 4-Cheese pizza, both of which I enjoyed (as she has the appetite of a sparrow). Our waitress Pierra was very polite, attentive and extremely friendly, and generally all of the staff couldn't have done enough for us. We was planning on trying different restaurants most nights during our stay here, but after this meal we both decided we would definitely be eating here again.

My family and I happened to stumble across this restaurant looking for lunch. It was one of the best places we ate at during our 2 week holiday. Fantastic food and even better service. And although on a rather busy road, the restaurant's immediate surroundings are lovely. Don't hesitate to stop by.
