We ordered the raw and hard squid, the overcooked lettuce, the reheated potatoes and the meat with port and they brought it with a cream sauce. There was no coffee or Coca-Cola or dataphone. We came here spontaneously and were very satisfied. We ordered pasta cherry and (from the menu of the day) fresh, grilled squid with boiled potatoes both tasted very good. The contact with the owner and waitress was also very nice. Contrary to the negative reviews here on Google, we want to say: dare, sufficient portions, value for money completely reasonable (48 € including water and a bottle of wine). The sign on the door says "best Paella ' so that 's what we went for. Best ? It was certainly very tasty and they provided a lovely wine by the glass. The chef showed me how they cooked it but with no english and my Spanish being not good to put it mildly it was mostly achieved by Google translate....I can understand comments about slow service etc but overall we enjoyed the experience
Be aware that El Pejin does not accept any bank or credit cards , but they don’t tell you until you try to pay. Restaurant is somewhat Italian and a bit Spanish. The food is OK , but it is expensive , perhaps because it’s on the main strip. Aimed squarely at tourists.
Great find well worth a visit there isn't allot of options here but everything fresh and staff very accommodating, not what I thought it would be very traditional
