Don Diego - San Roque

Ate here twice over the space of three or so days because the food was just that good! The sushi was delicious, be warned that the portions are large! The waiters were the most attentive we met in the area and the most personable too. They have two separate preparation areas, one in the front for the sushi and one towards the back for the rest of the food, you can see them hard at work. We ate outside for lunch on a day that they were quite quiet, there wasn’t much of an ambiance as there weren’t many other customers but we had no complaints as you’ve such gorgeous surroundings it made for a very relaxing lunch. We ate dinner inside and there was a lovely ambiance, intimate but not too quiet would definitely serve well as a date night spot.

Juan the owner is constantly innovating and trying new dishes. The mix with Japaneses, Mexican and local produce mostly works very well. A place to go for sushi in Sotogrande.
