Historic place in via Palazzo. The fact of being in an exclusively pedestrian street protects its tranquility, so much so that you can appreciate the background music (Charlie Parker). The menu has few items but in this case it is a positive note. Excellent value for money even if the portions are not abundant: the lasagna with pesto and the aubergine parmigiana are very good. The Ligurian minestrone with fresh vegetables is good. The warm apple pie with cream is very good. Better to book (there aren't many seats) and choose to dine early (the kitchen closes at 9pm). Last note: the sardenaira offered by the restaurant is exceptional. The food is fairly good but honestly we found it a bit expensive and with portions not suitable for those who are hungry !! The kids had the focaccia and sardenaira dish, other than that there was only lasagna. I was hoping for trofie al pesto but they weren 't on the menu. My wife had stuffed anchovies, good but 5 in number, I had baby octopus and squid with potatoes and peas. The baby octopus were 3 maybe 4 and I didn 't perceive the squid. I found the dish good but a little too loaded in terms of flavor and not much fish ... too bad! The prices of the sweets at 7 euros I found them really excessive. It may be a historic place but it 's not for us... we 've been wanting to try it for a while and we were disappointed.
