Mod Pizza - San Ramon

This restaurant is often busy in the evenings, and I have had to wait over 45 minutes when it's very crowded. They seem to struggle with handling online orders on Fridays. Despite that, the staff are friendly, and I appreciate being able to customize my pizza. The place is usually clean. Make sure to try the balsamic glaze, it's a fantastic addition!

I walked into the restaurant and noticed a young employee with long black hair touching his hair and then handling food in the front kitchen area. He seemed to have no regard for the fact that he was working with food. This observation bothered me at first, but my concern grew when I found a 24-inch long black hair in my mouth after eating my food at home. It felt like it had come from the bottom of my stomach. I found this experience absolutely disgusting and did not finish my meal. I am hesitant to return to this restaurant, as I believe employees should wear hairnets to prevent this kind of incident from happening again.

I really wanted to love this restaurant after seeing the advertisements and reviews, but I was extremely disappointed tonight. I placed an order online and arrived a few minutes early to pick it up. However, I could tell immediately that the pizza would be cold just by touching the boxes. I should have said something, but I had family in town and wanted to eat quickly. When we got home, the pizza was not even lukewarm, it was cold. The hamburger pizza was mediocre, the toppings were disappointing. I can say I gave it a try, but I will not be returning.

A variety of clearly identified vegan options, good portion sizes, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more!
